The name Allosaurus means "different lizard". It was a large two legged predator. It's skull was large and equipped with dozens of large, sharp teeth! Allosaurus was at the top of the food chain, probably preying on anything that moved. Some scientists believe Allosaurus hunted in packs and would ambush its prey using its upper jaw like a hatchet. Ouch!
